Digital Mark Reader (DMR) is not a common OMR solution, but an application that enable document scanner to process examination and questionnaire forms with mark recognition technology.
Digital Mark Reader can detect bubbles, checkmarks and crossmarks with very fast extraction time, upto 12000 pages/minutes.
Presently, DMR runs on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. DMR consists of two applications:
DMR Editor (DMR-E) and DMR Extractor (DMR-X).
DMR Editor
DMR Editor helps user to easily create DMR forms using predefined drag and drop object. DMR forms can be created in minutes without any programming script.
User can also customize all objects in DMR Editor by changing the properties of each object.
DMR Extractor
DMR Extractor is used to scan the paper forms, extract the images into data, and export them to Mirosoft Excel File, Text File, or databases through ODBC. DMR recognition can be set by user to recognize bubbles, checkmarks, and crossmarks.
Instead of processing questionnaire, DMR Extractor can also process examination scores, combining data from previous DMR examination and create the reports.
